This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Formulate and implement a growth strategy focused on logistics and mobility, with an emphasis on USTRANSCOM and AMC.
• Identify, assess, and manage a portfolio of defense logistics and mobility opportunities.
• Establish and nurture relationships with senior leaders in logistics and mobility at USTRANSCOM, AMC, and JECC.
• Stay informed about related customer communities within SDDC and MSC.
• Utilize expertise in joint logistics operations and command-and-control to influence opportunity strategies.
• Direct competitive evaluations and develop price-to-win strategies.
• Supervise proposal strategies and win themes that cater to the specific needs of logistics, distribution, and mobility customers.
• Engage in senior-level reviews, strategic planning meetings, and customer outreach initiatives.
• Link logistics challenges to mission-centric solutions and overall enterprise mission outcomes.
• Lead cross-functional teams to provide actionable recommendations and insights informed by logistics.
• A bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• Significant experience in defense-oriented business development and logistics solutions is essential.
• Practical knowledge of USTRANSCOM and AMC, particularly regarding global distribution, airlift and air mobility operations, deployment planning, joint logistics enterprise systems, and sustainment.
• Established relationships and a strong professional reputation within the logistics and mobility sectors, especially at USTRANSCOM and AMC.
• Proven history of identifying, qualifying, and expanding large-scale business opportunities in defense logistics, IT modernization, and mission-enabling systems markets.
• Proficient in logistics IT modernization, enterprise data platforms, and command-level decision support systems.
• In-depth understanding of DoD logistics policy frameworks, joint publication doctrine (e.g., JP 4-0), FAR/DFARS requirements, and pertinent IT compliance standards.
• Capable of translating global distribution, airlift, and mobility needs into enterprise-level results.
• Strong collaborative leadership abilities, with proficiency in leading cross-functional teams and fostering customer and industry relationships.
• An active Top Secret clearance with SCI is preferred, or the ability to upgrade.
• Familiarity with surface and sealift operations at SDDC and MSC is preferred.
• Experience with C2 systems and joint operations from a logistics perspective is preferred.
• Connections to adjacent commands such as JECC, SDDC, and MSC are preferred.
• Designated as a flexwork position.
• Travel required up to 25%.
