This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +7 more countries.
• Assist in the formulation and implementation of territory and account strategies to foster sales growth within designated accounts and prospective opportunities.
• Propel profitable expansion and meet or surpass Annual Operating Plan (AOP) objectives.
• Acquire new molecules, expand services, and enhance share of wallet with current biotech clients.
• Engage in consultative selling through outreach efforts, negotiations, and contract finalization.
• Aid in the development and completion of commercial prospects, quotes, and contracts.
• Identify and capitalize on opportunities within assigned accounts and prospects.
• Tailor solutions to address customer needs and challenges, thereby generating demand.
• Implement territory sales strategies and contribute to territory growth goals.
• Develop and sustain a viable sales pipeline.
• Ensure precise forecasting and adherence to SFDC protocols.
• Cultivate relationships with customer stakeholders while comprehending customer frameworks, decision-makers, and industry dynamics.
• Articulate Thermo Fisher’s value as a comprehensive solutions provider.
• Observe competitive movements and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with subject matter experts, operations, finance, and legal to deliver effective solutions.
• Engage in customer meetings, events, and site tours.
• Advocate for customer experience and provide insights to enhance customer interactions and internal processes.
• Work in partnership with internal stakeholders to address customer needs and sales targets.
• 5-8 years of experience in field sales or business development with quota responsibilities.
• Essential background in sales, deal structuring, and relationship management.
• Experience in sales within a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) and familiarity with one or more current drug modalities (Steriles, Solid Dosage, Biologics, Cell and Gene Therapy, Viral Vector, and API) is advantageous.
• Strong analytical abilities, including financial acumen.
• Excellent relationship-building skills with both customers and internal stakeholders.
• Proven experience in managing sales opportunities and customer relationships in a matrixed environment.
• Proficient in advancing opportunities through a consultative sales approach.
• Strong commercial insight with a track record of shaping solutions and influencing deal results.
• Effective communicator with executive presence and robust negotiation capabilities.
• Highly competitive, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset.
• Comfortable working with urgency, ambiguity, and minimal structure.
• Willingness to travel up to 50 percent to engage with customers and showcase Thermo Fisher facilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in a Life Sciences field is mandatory.
