This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead initiatives to drive growth within the Federal, DoD, and commercial sectors.
• Formulate and implement a detailed business development strategy that aligns with corporate growth objectives.
• Influence and shape requirements early in the acquisition process to ensure they align with OSC Edge’s capabilities.
• Oversee the complete business development lifecycle, which includes opportunity identification, capture strategy, proposal assistance, and contract transition.
• Build and sustain trusted relationships with decision-makers in the DoD and government, as well as industry partners and integrators.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and leadership to guarantee customer success.
• Provide weekly updates and progress reports.
• Aid in the advancement of business development processes, including CRM, formal capture, and proposal workflows.
• Identify, forecast, and secure new opportunities while nurturing relationships with both new and existing clients.
• Recognize strategic inflection points in the market for both core and non-traditional business initiatives.
• Create and deliver presentations on strategic and business growth opportunities, including market and competitive analysis.
• Daily monitoring of government portals, notices, and postings to identify opportunities for Go/No-Go evaluations.
• Willingness to travel at least 25%.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Federal IT sector.
• Proficient in developing and maintaining customer relationships.
• Previous experience and established connections within the Federal IT industry, with the capability to translate OSC’s strengths into growth opportunities.
• Expertise in capture planning and execution support for both operational and strategic opportunities.
• Strong relationships within target accounts.
• Experience across a broad spectrum of tactical, operational, and strategic opportunities.
• Proven track record of successfully capturing both small and large-scale DoD contracts, preferably in the information technology domain.
• In-depth knowledge of POM processes and contracting vehicles, such as IDIQ.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to develop business cases and shape opportunities for future growth.
• Prior experience in building relationships with federal acquisition offices.
• Experience collaborating with subcontractors and prime Federal Contractors.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines effectively.
• Demonstrated strategic approaches to market entry.
• Capacity to make sound judgments and decisions that benefit the company.
• Resourceful and quick in problem-solving, even under pressure.
• Efficient and effective work ethic, with a keen attention to detail.
• Self-driven, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness and ability to travel at least 25%.
