This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement a thorough business development strategy that aligns with corporate growth objectives.
• Shape and influence requirements early in the acquisition process to align with OSC Edge’s strengths.
• Oversee the complete business development lifecycle, encompassing opportunity identification, capture strategy, proposal support, and contract transition.
• Build and sustain trusted relationships with DoD and government decision-makers, industry partners, and integrators.
• Collaborate with internal departments and leadership teams to guarantee customer success.
• Provide weekly updates and progress reports.
• Contribute to business development processes, including CRM, formal capture, and proposal workflows.
• Identify, forecast, and capture new opportunities while nurturing relationships with both new and existing customers.
• Recognize strategic inflection points for both core and non-traditional business initiatives.
• Develop and present strategic and business growth opportunities, which include market and competitive analysis.
• Monitor government portals, notices, and postings on a daily basis to identify opportunities for Go/No-Go consideration.
• Support growth across Federal, DoD, and commercial sectors, targeting agencies such as the Army, DISA, Navy, Air Force, DOJ, DOE, USSPACECOM, and Customs and Border Protection.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5 or more years of experience in the Federal IT industry.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Previous experience and connections within the Federal IT sector, translating OSC Edge’s capabilities into growth opportunities.
• Experience in capture planning and execution support for operational and strategic opportunities.
• Established relationships in target accounts.
• Experience managing tactical, operational, and strategic opportunities.
• Proven success in capturing both small and large-scale DoD contracts, preferably in the information technology field.
• Strong knowledge of POM processes and contracting mechanisms, such as IDIQ.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to evaluate market conditions, competition, and customer needs.
• Ability to develop business cases and shape opportunities for future growth.
• Established relationships with federal acquisition offices.
• Experience working collaboratively with subcontractors and prime Federal Contractors.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines.
• Demonstrated strategic approaches to market entry.
• Ability to make sound judgments and decisions.
• Capability to solve problems swiftly and work effectively under pressure.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness and ability to travel at least 25%.
