This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Identify, assess, and secure new business opportunities.
• Build relationships with potential clients and partners.
• Inform clients and partners about products and services that meet their business requirements.
• Participate in the strategic development for Commercial Nuclear Services within the U.S.
• Drive business development initiatives for the Commercial Nuclear market sector.
• Discover opportunities through customer and industry interactions.
• Report directly to the SVP of Business Development and contribute to growth strategies.
• Cultivate professional networks and customer relationships.
• Coordinate organizational resources to pursue and secure new projects.
• Create capture plans, conduct competitive analyses, and establish business fundamentals.
• Identify potential teaming partners and formulate teaming agreements.
• Collect market and customer intelligence.
• Engage in strategic planning with the leadership team.
• Take ownership of proposal content and oversee proposal activities.
• Secure necessary proposal approvals and manage proposal delivery.
• Communicate with clients regarding inquiries and issues.
• Collaborate with Contracts, Legal, Procurement, technical experts, and Operations personnel.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A bachelor's degree is required in engineering or a related scientific field.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in the nuclear sector.
• At least 10 years of experience working with or for Nuclear Utilities.
• Significant experience interacting with executives at utilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of the Nuclear utility procurement process.
• A robust network of relationships throughout the nuclear industry.
• Familiarity with commercial Nuclear Power Plant Operations.
• Awareness of current commercial nuclear power challenges and business drivers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient problem-solving skills.
• Advanced presentation capabilities.
• Must be a U.S. citizen to be considered for this position.
