This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Initiate and spearhead significant sales ventures with Fortune 500 industrial and data center clients.
• Identify and focus on strategic accounts, promoting solar, battery storage, linear generators, and microgrid solutions centered around sustainability, reliability, capacity, and cost efficiency.
• Cultivate trusted, consultative relationships with executive-level stakeholders.
• Track trends in energy transition, regulatory changes, and customer requirements to uncover opportunities.
• Oversee the entire sales cycle from initial outreach to closing deals.
• Develop and secure long-term agreements.
• Lead negotiations for Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Energy Service Agreements (ESAs), and other intricate contracts.
• Collaborate with engineering, project finance, and operations teams to create tailored, bankable solutions.
• Maintain a systematic and transparent pipeline with precise forecasting and reporting.
• Work alongside solutions engineering, marketing, operations, and finance teams on proposals.
• Aid in the preparation of investment committee materials and executive presentations for high-profile transactions.
• Provide leadership with market insights on product strategy, pricing, and market positioning.
• Meet or surpass annual sales and margin targets.
• Represent Calibrant in client meetings, industry events, and conferences.
• Foster long-term client relationships and pursue repeat and expanded business opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• Over 7 years of progressive experience in business development, commercial sales, or strategic partnerships within the renewable energy, distributed generation, or energy infrastructure sectors.
• Proven track record in leading multi-million-dollar renewable energy transactions.
• Experience selling to Fortune 500 clients and maneuvering through complex organizational structures and procurement processes.
• Strong understanding of solar PV, battery energy storage, linear generators, and microgrid systems.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and finalize complex agreements, including PPAs, ESAs, term sheets, and Letters of Intent (LOIs).
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence executive stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and adept at managing multiple high-priority opportunities simultaneously.
