
Senior Business Development Associate – Clinical Site Networks

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the complete sales process for services provided to new clinical research site clients.
• Identify potential clients through proactive outreach and assess incoming leads.
• Engage in call and email prospecting targeting research institutions that meet management criteria.
• Manage company outreach and daily task lists using Salesforce.
• Achieve or surpass quotas for signed contracts with clinical research institutions.
• Tailor and present site-focused presentations to prospective clients.
• Facilitate strategy meetings with internal team members.
• Create and manage proposals across various site service lines.
• Develop and deliver contracts to interested clients.
• Assist in the education and transition of signed clients to the relevant operations department for onboarding.
• Ensure accurate and prompt communication and customer service to both prospective and current clients.
• Keep Salesforce tasks, leads, and opportunities updated in real-time with comprehensive notes and dates.
• Support clinical research institution-focused conferences.
• Train new team members on site sales, data entry, and organization.
• Aid in the completion of internal deliverables according to project schedules.
• Create and revise internal guidance documents.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, marketing, healthcare, or a related field.
• At least two (2) years of professional experience in sales, relationship management, and/or business development.
• Experience in the clinical research industry is preferred.
• Capability to achieve individual goals while collaborating within a team environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
• Capacity to manage multi-channel sales activities in a fast-paced and dynamic organization.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional groups/teams.

• Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities.
• Proven success in building and maintaining effective professional relationships.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
• Familiarity with the clinical research industry and related services/products is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), CRM systems like Salesforce, and database applications.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends.
• Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time.
• Capacity to work at a desk using a computer for extended periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements.
• Ability to communicate through email, telephone, chat, webcam, MS Teams, or Zoom.
• Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
• Full-time employment.
