Senior Business Automation Developer – International

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Transform business processes into automated, self-service solutions from the initial discovery phase to full rollout.

• Collaborate with various business departments to assess and redesign current workflows.

• Create and enhance AI-driven solutions utilizing modern LLMs and the associated ecosystem.

• Work alongside the Center of Excellence for Automation to suggest, prioritize, and spearhead automation and AI platform initiatives.

• Engage cross-functionally with technical specialists, product managers, and business leaders.

• Share best practices, document established patterns, and facilitate self-service automation throughout the organization.

• Establish and monitor metrics that showcase the effectiveness of automation.

• Refine automation solutions based on performance metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in product ownership or agile project management.

• Demonstrated ability to gather requirements and prioritize backlogs effectively.

• Capacity to balance quick results with long-term scalability.

• Proactive in identifying bottlenecks and developing scalable, user-focused solutions.

• Familiarity with automation/orchestration tools such as n8n, Zapier, or Make.

• Experience in integrating SaaS tools and internal systems through APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and event-driven patterns.

• Knowledge of prompt engineering and constructing AI agents is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills to convey trade-offs to both business and engineering stakeholders.

• Ability to produce clear documentation and playbooks.

• Proficient in English at a C1 level.

• Good command of German at a B2 level is advantageous.
