Senior Business Analyst – Insurance AI Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with insurance business units to identify, prioritize, and define high-impact AI use cases.

• Translate complex business challenges and legacy insurance regulations into comprehensive functional requirements.

• Develop clear user stories, process definitions, and business acceptance criteria.

• Analyze and map end-to-end insurance workflows to pinpoint automation and optimization opportunities.

• Lead requirement workshops and collaborative design sessions between business and technical teams.

• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, data/AI teams, and engineering squads.

• Establish objective UAT criteria and validate delivered AI capabilities against business expectations.

• Perform gap analyses between new AI functionalities and existing customer-facing processes and channels.

• Assist in prioritization, scope clarification, and refinement of requirements throughout the delivery process.

• Ensure that business requirements are consistently aligned with operational, regulatory, and customer needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 5–10 years of professional experience in Business Analysis.

• Extensive experience in the insurance industry.

• Proven track record of translating intricate business rules into functional requirements and user stories.

• Strong background in process mapping, workflow analysis, and business-process optimization.

• Experience in facilitating requirements workshops with both business and technical stakeholders.

• Practical experience in defining UAT criteria and aiding business validation efforts.

• Experience working on digital transformation, automation, data, or AI-related delivery initiatives.

• Proficient in professional English.

• Familiarity with insurance claims, underwriting, policy administration, customer service, or related core insurance processes.

• Experience with legacy insurance platforms and intricate business-rule environments.

• Exposure to AI, automation, analytics, or intelligent workflow transformation.

• Experience in distributed or multi-squad delivery environments.
