Lead IT Business Analyst – Global Serialization

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Strategize, implement, and facilitate the ongoing operation of Viatris’ global Serialization initiative across internal manufacturing facilities, packaging sites, and distribution centers.

• Manage the IT implementation components of Serialization projects and oversee end-to-end business processes in collaboration with Global IT teams and business subject matter experts.

• Supervise or engage in Serialization functionality projects encompassing blueprinting, realization, testing, change management, compliance, business transition, rollouts, and hypercare.

• Liaise with users, business analysts, Quality Assurance, Packaging, Supply Chain, and IT staff regarding issue resolutions and the impacts of system changes.

• Evaluate integration impacts related to SAP ATTP, SAP S/4 HANA, and ERP systems.

• Create validation documentation and perform Installation Qualification/Operational Qualification (IQ/OQ).

• Oversee Serialization and automated systems while managing changes.

• Gather and document business and system requirements through interviews, workshops, surveys, site visits, use cases, scenarios, and workflow analysis.

• Test solutions, evaluate risks, analyze impacts, and troubleshoot system issues.

• Provide support for business process analysis, process mapping, functional analysis, and implementation strategy.

• Manage incidents and issue resolutions according to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

• Conduct health checks on Serialization Level 3 systems and oversee break fixes, enhancements, upgrades, and maintenance at both application and database levels.

• Deliver training, maintain training records, and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and job aids.

• Manage user access for Packaging site Level 3 solutions and perform access and periodic reviews in conjunction with CSV and IT Quality.

• Plan and execute Level 2 and Level 3 Serialization deployments during mergers and acquisitions and TSA Exit projects.

• Establish strategies for system carve-outs during divestitures and site closures.

• Direct on-site implementation alongside local IT teams, including support for networking, firewall, database, platform, procurement, installation, and line/site manager configurations.

• Develop training materials and assist with the delivery of global training.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.

• At least 2 years of experience in Serialization Packaging Level 2/Level 3 deployment and validation is essential.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Global Serialization, including US DSCSA and EU FMD, is required.

• Ability to identify when and to whom to escalate risks and issues.

• Capacity to influence individuals without direct reporting lines.

• Proficient multitasking skills and a change-oriented mindset.

• Knowledge of integration points with SAP ATTP, SAP S/4 HANA, and ERP systems.

• Experience in authoring validation documents, encompassing risk assessments, user requirements, configuration specifications, and validation plans.

• Proven experience in executing IQ/OQ.

• Familiarity with requirements elicitation, business process analysis, process mapping, functional analysis, and implementation strategies.

• Experience in testing medium- to high-complexity solutions and assessing associated risks and impacts.

• Competence in managing incidents and issue resolutions in line with SLAs.

• Background with Serialization Level 2 and Level 3 systems, including application and database maintenance.

• Experience in user access management and conducting periodic reviews.

• Familiarity with CSV and IT Quality processes.

• Experience in planning and executing Serialization Level 2 and Level 3 deployments.

• Knowledge of networking, firewalls, databases, and platforms relevant to system implementation.
