Business Analyst – EDI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Establish and sustain EDI communications and design to ensure global scalability and high availability across all business units.

• Spearhead the complete design and implementation of intricate EDI integrations utilizing Oracle EDI modules, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and Cleo Integration Cloud (CIC).

• Manage and enhance AS2, SFTP, HTTPS, and API communication protocols.

• Supervise the onboarding process for new customer and supplier trading partners.

• Collaborate with IT developers and ERP specialists to integrate EDI workflows with ERPs such as Oracle.

• Oversee complex EDI mappings and translation rules utilizing X12 and EDIFACT.

• Evaluate existing EDI processes, identify delays or manual interventions, and implement automated solutions.

• Lead the development of test plans and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Provide Tier 3 technical support for EDI issues.

• Guide junior analysts and developers on EDI best practices and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field with equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in EDI architecture and development.

• Significant hands-on experience with Oracle EDI/E-Business Suite and Cleo (CIC) is necessary; familiarity with both is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and communication protocols (AS2, FTP/S, API).

• Previous experience in the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) or High-Tech Manufacturing industry is essential.

• Strong understanding of supply chain business processes, including Demand Planning, Manufacturing Operations, and Intercompany transactions.

• Knowledge of SQL, XML, and JSON; experience with ERP-integrated EDI is crucial.

• Awareness of secure data transmission standards and B2B security best practices.

• Ability to work with a high level of precision in data mapping and compliance with global messaging standards.

• A self-driven individual who thrives in autonomy and takes ownership of the entire B2B integration lifecycle.
