This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify business needs and drive ongoing enhancements of business processes and team results.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and review the work of fellow analysts on best practices in business analysis and collaboration.
• Elicit, collect, summarize, and document business requirements through interviews, document reviews, workshops, surveys, site assessments, process descriptions, and workflow evaluations.
• Recognize inter-team and cross-functional dependencies and their impacts.
• Conduct research and analysis to define and clarify business requirements.
• Assess scope-change requests and recommend adjustments that deliver value and align with project goals.
• Communicate scope alterations to team members and stakeholders.
• Assist business units in comprehending system capabilities and their alignment with business requirements.
• Reconcile data from various sources and drive consensus among stakeholders.
• Facilitate the resolution of conflicting or unclear business needs.
• Differentiate user requests from fundamental needs.
• Promote collaboration on technical vision and usability/performance trade-offs.
• Oversee the resolution of escalated issues and ensure timely outcomes.
• Engage with internal and external users on matters that do not necessitate code changes.
• Address and resolve inquiries and concerns, directing issues to the appropriate departments as needed.
• Maintain documentation of issues and their resolutions.
• Assist in the creation of training materials.
• Collaborate with development teams to test and validate defect resolutions.
• Perform duties of various job types as part of an Agile team.
• Adhere to the team’s Working Agreement and evolving team processes.
• Provide or facilitate system maintenance adhering to established standards.
• Lead the implementation of new business rules and regulatory requirements as applicable.
• Foster ongoing development and resolve ambiguities in requirements.
• Direct the timely implementation of changes in accordance with project timelines.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Over 5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of audiences.
• Proven track record in successful problem-solving.
• Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Proficient in gathering, analyzing, defining, clarifying, and documenting business needs and requirements.
• Skilled in facilitating discussions and fostering collaboration among stakeholders.
• Capable of translating technical information into easily understandable formats and vice versa.
• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Willingness to engage in continuous education throughout one’s career.
• Availability to work outside of regular business hours when necessary.
