Lead Business Analyst, Process & Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Become a member of the Capital and Payments team, focusing on operations related to payments, lending, underwriting, risk, and billing.

• Manage projects from start to finish, identifying process inefficiencies or challenges and overseeing their implementation and evaluation.

• Create comprehensive maps of end-to-end processes, identify handoffs, and gain insights into operational workflows.

• Investigate root causes and quantify operational losses in terms of time, financial impact, and customer satisfaction.

• Convert insights into actionable requirements, enhanced processes, delivery strategies, and measurable success criteria.

• Develop or coordinate automation, tools, data management, and control mechanisms.

• Oversee testing and readiness for launch, monitor impact, promote adoption, and transition ownership back to the relevant team.

• Identify potential use cases for AI agents in operations and design, test, implement, and assess complex multi-step workflows.

• Collaborate with external teams to create business cases that prioritize Product and Technology initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in business analysis, process enhancement, operations, implementation, or product operations.

• Proven ability to lead intricate cross-functional projects from initial problem identification through to implementation and ongoing assessment.

• Strong analytical capabilities, utilizing data, queries, and dashboards to confirm issues and demonstrate results.

• Skill in transforming vague business requirements into precise specifications, process frameworks, and delivery strategies.

• Exceptional stakeholder management, facilitation, written communication, and presentation abilities.

• Experience in financial services, fintech, payments, lending, insurance, commerce, e-commerce, point-of-sale, or marketplace sectors is a plus.

• Practical experience with workflow, case management, or process automation tools is beneficial.

• Familiarity with SQL, business intelligence tools, or data modeling is advantageous.

• Experience in evaluating or implementing AI-driven solutions for operational applications is a plus.

• Proven success in fostering adoption and efficiency following product launches is beneficial.
