Senior Business Analyst – BPMN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Facilitate sessions for gathering requirements, conducting process discovery workshops, and interviewing stakeholders.

• Collect, document, analyze, and validate both business and technical requirements.

• Convert business needs into user stories, requirements documentation, and technical specifications.

• Identify potential areas for process enhancements, automation, and operational efficiencies.

• Clarify requirements during estimation, planning, and delivery phases.

• Create deliverables such as process flows, use cases, user stories, mockups, and supporting documentation.

• Develop business cases and assist in project prioritization efforts.

• Lead the mapping of current-state and future-state processes.

• Conduct workshops to pinpoint process pain points, bottlenecks, workarounds, decision points, and handoffs.

• Document and analyze processes utilizing BPMN and value stream mapping techniques.

• Formulate streamlined future-state processes and suggest simplification, standardization, and optimization strategies.

• Support enterprise transformation initiatives, process redesign, and ongoing improvement efforts.

• Implement consistent standards for process documentation.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, architects, product teams, and external vendors throughout the project lifecycle.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, and requirements reviews.

• Assist in project planning by assessing business needs, system impacts, and implementation considerations.

• Gain expertise in core applications, systems, and technical platforms.

• Plan, facilitate, and conduct system, functional, and User Acceptance Testing.

• Develop and maintain test plans, scenarios, and test cases.

• Coordinate participation in business testing and aid in issue resolution.

• Support implementation and post-deployment adoption activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience is required.

• Proven experience in facilitating stakeholder interviews, discovery workshops, and sessions for gathering requirements.

• Experience in documenting business processes, workflows, and functional requirements.

• Familiarity with working in Agile environments and closely collaborating with development teams.

• Demonstrated experience in leading process improvement, process mapping, and operational efficiency initiatives.

• Background supporting testing, quality assurance, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.

• Proficient in business process modeling and mapping, including current-state and future-state process design.

• Experience with BPMN, workflow documentation, and value stream mapping methodologies.

• Strong understanding of Agile practices, requirements management, and software development life cycles (SDLC).

• Experience with test planning, test case development, execution, and UAT coordination.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Azure DevOps, process mapping tools, and collaboration platforms.

• A Bachelor's degree is required; however, a combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

• BPMN certification is preferred but not mandatory.
