Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Gather, analyze, and document both business and system requirements.

• Convert business needs into high-level as well as technical User Stories.

• Assist in managing, refining, and prioritizing the backlog alongside Product Owners and development teams.

• Collaborate with at least two teams to ensure alignment and consistency.

• Engage in system migrations and platform transformations.

• Analyze and provide support for data models and relational database architectures.

• Work with business and IT stakeholders to design scalable solutions.

• Facilitate requirements validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.

• Ensure high-quality documentation is maintained in Jira and Confluence.

• Contribute to the design of solutions for web-based and distributed systems.

• Collaborate in distributed, multi-system environments utilizing fixed-price and Scrum-based Agile delivery methodologies.

• Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst.

• Exceptional analytical skills and a solid technical understanding of data structures.

• Proficient in SQL and relational databases.

• Familiarity with data modeling concepts.

• Background in distributed systems and platform-based architectures.

• Experience in web-based systems development projects.

• Strong proficiency with Jira and Confluence tools.

• Demonstrated experience in migration projects and complex IT initiatives involving multiple teams.

• Proven track record in fixed-price project environments.

• Capability to navigate complex system landscapes and integrations.

• Extensive experience in crafting high-level business stories and detailed technical stories with acceptance criteria.

• Expertise in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• High degree of independence and ownership.

• Strong collaborative mindset.

• Awareness and capability in risk management.

• Practical experience with AI-powered assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.

• Must reside in the European Union and possess a valid work permit.

• Nice to have: structured GenAI application within the SDLC, familiarity with AI-driven practices, knowledge of leasing or railway domains, and experience with SAP.
