This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Gather and document business and system requirements with clarity.
• Evaluate inefficiencies in business processes and systems.
• Engage in use-case discovery workshops.
• Support strategic planning initiatives.
• Generate analysis documentation, including business requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state proposals, and UAT plans.
• Work closely with developers to implement the defined requirements.
• Identify necessary test cases based on business processes and solutions.
• Develop test plans and associated documentation.
• Execute tests across all solutions and collaborate with developers to resolve bugs and issues.
• Assist in managing change requests and refining business processes.
• Recognize and recommend improvements for deficient or inefficient business processes, subject to Government approval.
• Document business processes during discovery sessions.
• Collect business requirements and independently create process documentation.
• Identify logical inconsistencies or gaps in business process knowledge throughout use cases.
• Create and execute test cases while determining testing pathways.
• Take part in system demonstrations for customers, agencies, conferences, and educational gatherings.
• Develop workflows, PowerPoint presentations, graphs, charts, and visual aids for requirements.
• Over 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Capability to obtain an Active Secret Clearance.
• At least 2-4 years of prior management or technology consulting experience, ideally within the Public Sector/Federal Government.
• Proficient in gathering requirements remotely and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment.
• Strong grasp of Agile software development methodologies.
• Proven experience in requirements development for applications, experiences, websites, products, and services that align user needs with business objectives and technological limitations.
• Experience in producing client-facing deliverables and presentations, as well as participating in client meetings.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written.
• Well-organized and self-directed, with the capability to define tasks independently.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and G Suite.
