Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create scalable, self-service analytical and visualization solutions for team initiatives.

• Collect and analyze data, while developing and maintaining reports and dashboards utilizing SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Python, and other relevant tools.

• Partner with IT and various teams to design data models and establish data pipelines that automate manual processes.

• Enhance data reliability, efficiency, and quality.

• Document and maintain reporting logic along with business requirements.

• Identify data-related issues and ensure prompt resolution.

• Assist with ad hoc reporting and automate business reviews and analyses.

• Utilize AI tools to create solutions for business users and improve business intelligence.

⛳️ Requirements

• A master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Economics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of experience with BI analytics or reporting tools, including Tableau and Power BI.

• More than 5 years of experience in SQL usage.

• Practical experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling.

• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and committed to quality and accuracy.

• Proven experience in applying AI tools to address business challenges, automate repetitive analytical tasks, accelerate insight generation, and enhance decision-making.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Strong analytical capabilities and advanced modeling experience.

• Ability to assess and implement emerging AI technologies for enhancing business intelligence, reporting, and operational effectiveness.
