Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee business analysis within Delivery Operations and Strategy.

• Direct complex business analysis tasks to provide actionable insights and technology solutions that are in line with strategic goals and customer requirements.

• Frame intricate business issues, outline desired outcomes, and set visions for change.

• Analyze and convey risks, dependencies, costs, benefits, and trade-offs for stakeholder decision-making.

• Facilitate discovery, ideation, assessment, requirements gathering, solution design, and prioritization processes.

• Lead technology rationalization and modernization efforts, including the retirement of legacy systems and the optimization of application portfolios.

• Ensure initiatives advance through their entire lifecycle with proper governance, risk management, and alignment to strategy.

• Cultivate relationships across business, technology, architecture, security, procurement, and operational teams.

• Organize stakeholder workshops and forums for decision-making.

• Collaborate with technical subject matter experts to identify sustainable solution alternatives.

• Ensure requirements are integrated throughout discovery, solution design, vendor evaluation, and implementation planning.

• Assist in due diligence, vendor evaluations, and strategic assessments.

• Coordinate efforts among cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.

• Mentor peers and contribute to the Business Analysis community.

• Serve as a liaison between delivery teams and senior leadership.

• Advocate for continuous improvement, business transformation, operational enhancements, and technology modernization.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than seven years of experience working at the program or portfolio level.

• A proven history of managing complex programs of work.

• Experience in supporting multifaceted, multi-portfolio programs from inception to completion.

• Experience in aligning roadmaps, budgets, and resources with strategic objectives.

• Extensive knowledge and experience in agile, Lean, and hybrid delivery methodologies.

• Ability to select and modify business analysis techniques, facilitation methods, and delivery tools based on context, complexity, and stakeholder requirements.

• Capability to quickly grasp new business domains, operating models, and strategic priorities.

• Experience in identifying and articulating risks, dependencies, costs, benefits, and trade-offs.

• Proven experience in facilitating stakeholder workshops and decision-making forums.

• Ability to convey complex technical and business ideas to audiences at all levels, including senior leadership.

• Knowledge of functional and non-functional requirements, solution design, vendor assessment, and implementation planning.

• Experience with due diligence, vendor evaluations, and strategic assessments.

• Skill in collaborating with geographically distributed teams across different locations, cultures, and time zones.
