Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the gathering, documentation, and analysis of intricate business, functional, and system requirements.

• Organize stakeholder workshops, interviews, and cross-departmental meetings to identify business necessities and priorities.

• Perform gap, impact, and process analyses to guide solution design.

• Convert requirements into user stories, process flows, wireframes, and decision models.

• Work collaboratively with product owners, project managers, developers, and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle.

• Recognize inefficiencies, suggest improvements, and create process documentation.

• Establish communication plans, identify user training requirements, and define success metrics to facilitate organizational change management.

• Mentor junior analysts and help uphold business analysis standards and best practices.

• Drive discovery initiatives, articulate complex business requirements, and ensure solutions align with stakeholder and technological specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 12 years of professional experience in business analysis or systems analysis roles with a BS/BA; at least 10 years with an MS/MA; or a minimum of 7 years with a Ph.D.

• Cybersecurity workforce certification AIM/IAT Level II (e.g., Security+, CASP+).

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Active Public Trust Clearance required.

• Demonstrated success in leading complex initiatives from inception to completion.

• Extensive knowledge of business analysis frameworks, methodologies, and tools.

• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to articulate technical and business concepts to a wide range of audiences.

• Strong documentation capabilities, including experience in writing BRDs, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.

• Proficient in JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Capable of leading cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority.

• Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of best practices.
