This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Evaluate intricate business processes within clinical research functions.
• Collect and convert stakeholder requirements into actionable documentation.
• Create use cases, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Analyze current workflows and design future processes.
• Suggest opportunities for process standardization and automation.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses and assess implemented enhancements.
• Work in collaboration with technical teams on solution design and system implementations.
• Assist in the development of test plans and test cases, and validate implemented solutions.
• Produce training materials and user support documentation.
• Lead business analysis tasks for medium to large-scale projects.
• Oversee project scope, deliverables, work plans, timelines, and risks related to requirements.
• Foster stakeholder relationships and facilitate communication between business and technology teams.
• Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Guide junior business analysts and share best practices.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes in clinical research to identify innovation opportunities.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in business analysis, including a minimum of 3 years in clinical research or the pharmaceutical sector.
• Proven experience in leading requirements-gathering and process improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of clinical trial processes and workflows.
• Experience in implementing and configuring clinical systems, including EDC, CTMS, and eTMF.
• Familiarity with clinical research regulatory standards, including GCP, ICH, FDA, and EMA.
• Experience with both Agile and traditional software development methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems, life sciences, or a related discipline.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in business process analysis, requirements management, and process improvement methodologies.
• Skilled in using JIRA, Confluence, and Visio.
• Knowledgeable in BPMN, UML, and flowcharting.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities in mentoring, project coordination, decision-making, and influencing without authority.
• Experience in clinical research, pharmaceutical, or other regulated environments.
• Patient-centered mindset with a keen attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance and quality standards.
• Preferred: CBAP, IIBA, or PMI-PBA certification.
• Preferred: Training in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Preferred: Experience in implementing or optimizing clinical data management processes.
• Preferred: Experience in leading cross-functional teams and facilitating decision-making.
