This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Analyze customer requirements and data/information.
• Comprehend clients’ pension business needs and pinpoint suitable solutions.
• Collect, assess, validate, and document business and system requirements.
• Function as a liaison between business and IT teams.
• Support technology solutions aligned with enterprise architecture.
• Aid in designing, modifying, and developing business processes for transformation initiatives.
• Provide insights to enhance efficiency and processes.
• Maintain client relations and communicate with clients, service providers, and programmers.
• Offer daily client support throughout system development and implementation, including telephone assistance.
• Engage in client status meetings and contribute to status reports and meeting notes.
• Manage various clients and tasks while prioritizing workload.
• Send communications to clients.
• Take part in upgrade and new implementation projects.
• Estimate and quote tasks with programmers.
• Conduct client business-requirements sessions (JAD).
• Provide training for clients.
• Analyze intricate business and pension requirements, system modification/enhancement requests, and error corrections.
• Recommend solutions and document functional specifications with programmers.
• Review plan documents and prepare or peer-review specifications.
• Draft release notes and update delivery documentation.
• Assist with monthly support and maintenance updates.
• Adhere to CPAS standard practices and procedures.
• Configure client and plan rules in CPAS v5 products with assistance.
• Ensure systems comply with legislative requirements and accuracy standards.
• Develop quality assurance standards/programs for client installations.
• Document and maintain problem logs.
• Create test plans for upgrades and changes.
• Test template applications, custom work, and bug fixes.
• Enter and update defects in the CPAS Quality system.
• Encourage clients to utilize additional CPAS features.
• Contribute to client invoicing by ensuring timely and accurate tracking in the CPAS Quality system.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A minimum of 5–7 years of experience related to Canadian pensions or benefits.
• At least 5–7 years of experience as a systems analyst.
• A university degree or equivalent qualification.
• Designation or extensive experience/knowledge in pension plan administration (DB and/or DC), such as PPAC or CEBS coursework.
• Business Analyst Certification.
• Familiarity with systems/application development.
• Proficient client management skills.
• Leadership and management capabilities.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal, facilitation/presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Advanced organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
