This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer functional expertise and subject matter knowledge for designated applications.

• Conduct application support tasks.

• Gather, analyze, document, validate, and sustain business and functional requirements.

• Generate, update, and manage work items in AzDO.

• Break down requirements and stories into manageable sprint-sized tasks and assist in defining Acceptance Criteria and the sprint Definition of Done.

• Identify and document the tasks necessary to fulfill Product Backlog Items.

• Create estimates for PBIs and project timelines.

• Establish and uphold requirements traceability and dependencies within AzDO.

• Maintain the Product Backlog with the Government in coordination with Agile practices.

• Support development priorities based on the Program Backlog.

• Engage in Scrum events, artifacts, and Agile/Kanban methodologies.

• Assist in the entire System/Software Development Lifecycle, including requirements, analysis, design, development, testing, security, and deployment.

• Coordinate activities related to analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment for assigned stories.

• Suggest Minimum Viable Product solutions and integrate user feedback for future sprints.

• Develop documentation for Agile Scrum and NAVSUP BSC Service Delivery Model.

• Identify, define, or adjust system interfaces and formally document agreements.

• Translate functional designs into detailed logic that supports software coding.

• Review module and system designs, including record inputs, data elements, and output reports.

• Conduct testing against Acceptance Criteria and the Definition of Done.

• Prepare release packages for Government approval.

• Provide resources for pre-implementation training.

• Assist in resolving production outages.

• Define and communicate project metrics with Government PO/PM and Scrum Master.

• Facilitate application knowledge transfer through lesson plans and related activities.

• Mentor Government team members and document mentoring and knowledge-transfer efforts for monthly progress reports.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess U.S. citizenship.

• Must successfully complete the background investigation necessary for a Public Trust role.

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience with Agile concepts and principles, along with experience as a member of Agile teams.

• At least five (5) years of experience in eliciting, documenting, and validating business requirements.

• A minimum of two (2) years of college/work experience, per contract specifications.

• Proven ability to elicit, document, analyze, and validate business and functional requirements.

• Familiarity with Agile concepts, principles, practices, and team-based delivery.

• Proficient in data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to derive meaningful insights from data.

• Competence in identifying, analyzing, and assisting in resolving complex business and functional challenges.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• High attention to detail and a commitment to precision and thoroughness.

• Capacity to adapt to evolving business requirements, priorities, and Agile delivery timelines.

• Ability to establish effective working relationships and collaborate within cross-functional Government and contractor teams.

• Knowledge of business processes, industry trends, and best practices in business analysis.

• Ability to align business and functional solutions with organizational and program objectives.
