This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offer functional expertise and subject matter knowledge for designated applications.
• Carry out assigned application support tasks.
• Gather, analyze, document, validate, and uphold business and functional requirements.
• Create, update, and maintain work items in AzDO within five business days.
• Break down requirements and stories into manageable sprint-sized work and assist with Acceptance Criteria and Definition of Done.
• Identify and document tasks necessary to complete Product Backlog Items in AzDO.
• Develop estimates for PBIs and project roadmaps.
• Establish and maintain requirements traceability and dependencies within AzDO.
• Keep the Product Backlog aligned with Agile cadence.
• Support development priorities as per the Program Backlog.
• Follow Scrum and Agile Kanban methodologies and participate in Scrum events and artifacts.
• Facilitate and engage in Scrum and Agile events.
• Support the complete System/Software Development Lifecycle, encompassing requirements, analysis, design, development, testing, security, and deployment.
• Coordinate activities related to analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment for assigned stories.
• Suggest Minimum Viable Product solutions.
• Produce documentation adhering to Agile Scrum best practices and the NAVSUP BSC Service Delivery Model.
• Define or adjust system and application interfaces and document interface agreements.
• Convert functional designs into detailed logic that supports software coding.
• Review module and system designs for accuracy.
• Conduct testing against Acceptance Criteria and Definition of Done.
• Prepare release packages for Government approval.
• Provide resources for pre-implementation training.
• Assist in resolving Production Outages.
• Define and deliver project metrics in collaboration with the Government PO/PM and Scrum Master.
• Facilitate application Transfer of Knowledge through lesson plans and knowledge-transfer activities.
• Mentor Government team members daily and assist in their independent execution of analyst tasks.
• Document mentoring and knowledge-transfer activities for inclusion in monthly progress reports.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must successfully complete the background investigation necessary for a Public Trust position.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience with Agile concepts and principles, including participation as a member of Agile teams.
• At least five (5) years of experience in eliciting, documenting, and validating business requirements.
• A minimum of two (2) years of college/work experience, in accordance with contract requirements.
• Proven ability to elicit, document, analyze, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Knowledge and practical experience with Agile concepts, principles, practices, and team-based delivery.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical abilities with a capacity to derive meaningful insights from data.
• Capability to identify, analyze, and help resolve complex business and functional challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and completeness.
• Ability to adapt to evolving business needs, priorities, requirements, and Agile delivery schedules.
• Capacity to establish effective working relationships and collaborate within cross-functional Government and contractor teams.
• Knowledge of business processes, relevant industry trends, and business analysis best practices.
• Ability to think strategically and align solutions with organizational and program objectives.
• Prior experience with DoN or DoW information technology is advantageous.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers.
• Capacity to engage in and respond to audible communications in emergency situations.
