Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist in ensuring that Gainwell achieves its clients' goals.

• Support the coordination of a business analyst team's responsibilities and activities on IT projects.

• Offer guidance and assistance to newer team members.

• Serve as a liaison between clients, project managers, and technical staff to define, document, and communicate business requirements and anticipated impacts.

• Collaborate with clients to create business specifications at the outset of technical projects.

• Evaluate, plan, design, document, or suggest enhancements to business processes that align with clients' technological objectives.

• Ensure requirements are fulfilled by approving and validating test outcomes.

• Utilize analytical or relational database tools, such as Excel or SQL, to quantify the expected impact of work.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in a relevant Business Analyst role.

• At least 3 years of experience with Medicaid and Medicare is preferred.

• Understanding of computer programming principles including configuration, development, and batch processing.

• Advanced proficiency in analytical software like Microsoft Excel or SQL.

• Experience with requirement-mapping tools, such as Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools.

• Excellent client communication abilities, translating client needs into actionable objectives.

• Strong analytical skills and expertise in business process re-engineering.

• Impressive executive presence and communication skills.

• Capability to inspire others and convey key technical concepts in an understandable manner.
