Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Gather, document, and enhance both functional and non-functional requirements for the SF VCL Salesforce platform in collaboration with VA stakeholders and the development team.

• Lead requirements sessions with non-technical stakeholders and IT/technical teams, acting as a bridge between the two.

• Develop and sustain process models for intricate crisis-response workflows while suggesting effective improvement strategies.

• Engage in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Assist with change management efforts for new releases and modifications in workflows.

• Create and maintain user stories/tickets in Jira or a similar tool.

• Connect each user story/ticket to its originating requirement to ensure complete traceability from requirement to release.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience as a Senior Business Analyst on large, intricate development projects.

• Proficient in gathering, documenting, and refining functional and non-functional requirements.

• Exceptional communication abilities with both non-technical stakeholders and IT/technical teams.

• Skilled in process modeling for complex workflows and improvement strategies.

• Strong analytical skills, change management expertise, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Familiarity with Jira or a similar ticketing/requirements-management tool.

• Salesforce Certified Business Analyst.

• Salesforce Certified Strategy Designer.

• Preferred: Experience with Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Public Sector Solutions, and Salesforce Government Cloud Plus.

• Preferred: Previous experience with VA or other federal Salesforce implementations focused on Veteran-related or crisis/behavioral health programs.

• Preferred: CBAP or an equivalent business analysis certification.

• Preferred: CompTIA Security+ Certification.

• Preferred: DevOps/DevSecOps Certification.
