Senior Business Analyst

📋 Description

• Collaborate with department leaders to pinpoint technology-driven enhancements that align with the organizational strategy and mission impact.

• Facilitate discovery sessions to capture business processes, clarify requirements, and outline scalable system solutions.

• Convert business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, workflows, and system documentation.

• Maintain the integrity, consistency, and governance of enterprise systems including CRM, ecommerce, LMS, marketing automation, finance, and integrations.

• Oversee documentation standards for business requirements, system architecture diagrams, data definitions, and workflow processes.

• Identify risks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies within systems and propose enhancements.

• Collaborate on automation projects and system integrations to enhance visibility, minimize duplication, and boost scalability.

• Act as a backup operational resource within IT by configuring workflows, creating dashboards and reports, managing user permissions, providing system administration support, and addressing business-critical information gaps.

• Assist in vendor evaluation, implementation efforts, and system enhancement initiatives.

• Lead or assist with user acceptance testing, training documentation, and change management processes.

• Contribute to IT governance procedures and align technology investments with organizational priorities.

• Foster accountability and continuous improvement through structured analysis and collaborative problem-solving.

• Encourage clarity, integrity, and teamwork to ensure that systems and processes reflect Conscious Discipline’s mission and values.

• Success is evaluated based on system adoption, process efficiency, reduction of manual workarounds, improved data integrity, stakeholder satisfaction, project timelines, and cross-functional alignment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in business analysis, systems analysis, IT operations, or enterprise systems roles.

• Strong systems-thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to grasp high-level strategies and detailed technical workflows.

• Proficient in navigating intricate system landscapes.

• Familiarity and/or interest in AI-driven tools and automation platforms.

• Ability to configure CRM fields and workflows, create dashboards, write basic SQL queries, support integrations, and troubleshoot system or reporting issues.

• Preferred experience with ecommerce platforms like Shopify.

• Preferred experience with CRM platforms such as Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.

• Preferred experience with ERP/finance systems, project management tools, and documentation platforms.

• Knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar.

• Working knowledge of SQL is preferred.

• Experience in developing scalable workflows and establishing data governance standards.

• Experience supporting integrations for CRM, marketing, finance, and LMS systems.

• Experience in designing reporting structures.

• Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

• Ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism and empathy.

• Clear and effective communication skills.

• Ability to translate business challenges into technical requirements and convey technical solutions as business value.

• Comfortable leading cross-functional discussions and presenting to executives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or equivalent experience is preferred.

• Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile are a plus.
