This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Collaborate as a member of a support delivery team to analyze and gather requirements, enhance configurations, provide training, improve business processes, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Serve as a liaison between pension clients and the programming team to implement effective solutions that meet client business needs.
• Analyze customer requirements along with relevant information and data.
• Comprehend client pension business needs and identify suitable solutions.
• Collect, analyze, validate, and document business and system requirements.
• Act as a bridge between business and IT teams, supporting technology solutions aligned with enterprise architecture.
• Design, modify, and create business processes for transformative business solutions.
• Conduct research and fact-finding to support decisions regarding processes and systems.
• Provide insights to enhance efficiency and streamline processes.
• Maintain client relationships and coordinate with clients, service providers, and programmers.
• Offer daily client support throughout system development and implementation, including telephone assistance.
• Participate in client status meetings, prepare status reports, and take meeting notes.
• Manage multiple clients and tasks, prioritizing effectively.
• Prepare client correspondence.
• Engage in upgrade and new implementation projects, including estimating and quoting work with programmers.
• Conduct Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions to gather business requirements.
• Provide training to clients.
• Analyze intricate business and pension requirements, system modifications, enhancements, and error corrections.
• Propose solutions and document functional specifications in collaboration with programmers.
• Review and analyze plan documents, and prepare or peer-review specifications.
• Draft release notes and update delivery documentation.
• Assist with monthly support and maintenance updates.
• Adhere to CPAS standard practices and procedures.
• Set up client and plan rules in CPAS v5 products with assistance.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and accuracy standards.
• Develop quality assurance standards and programs for client installations.
• Document and maintain problem logs.
• Create test plans for upgrades and changes.
• Test templates, custom work, and defect resolutions for system quality assurance.
• Enter and update defects in the CPAS Quality system.
• Upsell and encourage clients to configure additional CPAS features.
• Contribute to client invoicing through timely and accurate tracking in the CPAS Quality system.
• A minimum of 5–7 years of experience in Canadian pensions or benefits.
• At least 5–7 years of experience as a systems analyst.
• A university degree or equivalent qualifications.
• Designation or extensive knowledge in pension plan administration (DB and/or DC), such as PPAC or CEBS course.
• Business Analyst Certification.
• Familiarity with systems/application development.
• Strong client management abilities.
• Leadership and management skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, facilitation/presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Advanced organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
