Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee enterprise-level business analysis and process enhancement initiatives that support Association projects.

• Initiate discovery and analysis for business challenges, enterprise projects, operational excellence opportunities, and remediation efforts.

• Convert business requirements into detailed specifications, user stories, and analytical artifacts for solution design and implementation.

• Develop and facilitate current and future-state process maps.

• Conduct comprehensive process analyses to uncover opportunities for standardization, simplification, automation, control enhancement, and measurable improvements.

• Assess workflow modifications and propose process and system improvements that align with the organizational strategy.

• Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies, root cause analysis, gap analysis, and value stream thinking to pinpoint solutions.

• Organize and lead Business User Acceptance Testing, which includes developing test scenarios, use cases, acceptance criteria, and readiness activities.

• Assist in product investigations by gathering requirements and evaluating potential solutions and vendors.

• Foster relationships with technical, business, and risk stakeholders to ensure alignment and facilitate decision-making.

• Convey complex information through written, verbal, and visual communication methods.

• Influence cross-functional leaders and stakeholders through data analysis, insights, and recommendations.

• Offer informal mentorship and guidance to Business Analysts and stakeholders.

• Collaborate with business, technology, and risk stakeholders to ensure that outcomes are in line with the Association's strategy.

• Travel as necessary for job responsibilities and team meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in the industry.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis, process analysis, and roles focused on continuous improvement.

• Experience in financial services or regulated industries is required.

• In-depth understanding of Business Analysis deliverables, best practices, and tools.

• Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma and Scrum/Agile principles and methodologies.

• Advanced skills in process mapping, process design, and process analysis tools and methodologies.

• Strong business acumen encompassing business operations, enterprise strategy, process capabilities, technology enablement, governance, and organizational interdependencies.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the financial services sector, banking, and/or Farm Credit Associations.

• Proven experience in creating BRDs, RTMs, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, test scenarios, process maps, root cause analyses, and gap analyses.

• Demonstrated experience in analyzing, enhancing, and designing cross-functional processes in a highly regulated environment.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Copilot, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.

• Lean Six Sigma or Business Analysis certification is preferred.

• Relevant Scrum/Agile certification or experience in an Agile/Scrum environment is preferred.

• Willingness to travel less than 5% as needed.

• Ability to work during standard business hours, with occasional evening and/or weekend commitments.
