Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate effective communication with client project stakeholders concerning project status, clarity of requirements, and delivery recommendations.

• Elicit, document, and manage business requirements from product owners and stakeholders.

• Convert requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications using Jira/Confluence.

• Organize backlog grooming, sprint planning, and stakeholder review sessions alongside engineering and QA teams.

• Perform gap analyses and workflow mapping to pinpoint process enhancements on the BX platform.

• Assist in UAT planning, prepare test scripts, and secure stakeholder sign-off.

• Create BRDs, process flows, data dictionaries, and use case diagrams.

• Engage in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and governance activities.

• Act as a liaison between stakeholders and engineering teams developing healthcare technology.

• Convert intricate clinical research requirements into actionable engineering deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in eliciting and documenting requirements from both business and technical stakeholders within a software product environment.

• Skilled in authoring user stories, acceptance criteria, BRDs, and process documentation.

• Experience in facilitating agile ceremonies and managing backlog priorities in Jira and Confluence.

• Background in supporting UAT planning and execution while acting as a liaison between business and QA teams.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Proficient in using Jira and Confluence.

• Experience in clinical trials, healthcare IT, or regulated software environments (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11) is advantageous.

• Minimum of 3 years of business analysis experience in a software product or professional services environment.

• Ability to convey technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.

• Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management abilities.

• Proficiency in English.

• CBAP or an equivalent business analysis certification is preferred.

• Familiarity with API concepts and the capability to review technical specifications is a plus.

• Experience working within a multi-vendor delivery model is desirable.
