Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gain insights into business goals, operational processes, and product needs.

• Facilitate requirements gathering workshops, stakeholder meetings, and discovery sessions.

• Convert intricate business requirements into user stories, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and process diagrams.

• Serve as a primary liaison among business stakeholders, Salesforce teams, and internal product and development groups to ensure alignment on requirements, priorities, and timelines.

• Work in tandem with Salesforce and Athenahealth teams to comprehend existing workflows, integrations, data necessities, and system interdependencies.

• Identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and potential obstacles, actively steering discussions toward solutions.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, UX/UI designers, Software Engineers, and QA teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

• Analyze and document both current-state and future-state business processes to uncover opportunities for enhancement and automation.

• Assist in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and requirement clarification.

• Define business scenarios and assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure delivered functionalities meet business expectations.

• Maintain thorough and clear documentation while taking ownership of follow-ups and action items.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in support of software or digital product development.

• Strong domain knowledge in Healthcare, with a comprehensive understanding of US healthcare workflows and operational processes.

• Practical experience with Salesforce, including workflows, integrations, business processes, and data flows.

• Hands-on experience with Athenahealth or similar EHR/EMR systems.

• Proven expertise in requirements gathering, documentation, and producing deliverables such as User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, BRDs, and Process Flow diagrams.

• Solid grasp of enterprise system integrations, APIs, data flows, and system interdependencies.

• Practical experience in an Agile/Scrum product development environment.

• Strong collaborative skills with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, Salesforce developers, Engineers, QA, and UX/UI designers.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Demonstrated ownership mindset with a strong capability to manage ambiguity, track dependencies, and work effectively in remote settings.

• Experience supporting the development or enhancement of specialized healthcare technology platforms.

• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, such as HL7 and FHIR.

• Hands-on experience with healthcare system integrations and REST/SOAP APIs.

• Proficiency in using Jira and Confluence for backlog management and documentation.

• Experience working with distributed or global cross-functional teams.
