
Senior Board & Executive Compensation Consultant ā Public Pension

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
⢠Act as the designated technical lead for board and executive compensation within public pension and retirement systems.
⢠Perform annual reviews of total compensation for board direct reports, encompassing both base salary and performance-based pay.
⢠Create and evaluate performance pay and incentive plans.
⢠Conduct target market assessments and independent market analysis.
⢠Develop comprehensive reports and presentations suitable for Boards of Trustees.
⢠Participate in periodic on-site board meetings.
⢠Provide support for proposal past-performance under AlphaGov.
⢠Uphold independence and manage conflicts of interest effectively.
⢠A minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation analysis within the financial, investment, or pension-fund sectors.
⢠At least 5 years of experience collaborating with Boards of Trustees, including delivering presentations on compensation benchmarking.
⢠Over 5 years of expertise in executive compensation and incentive strategies for large public pension, governmental, or nonprofit organizations.
⢠Availability for remote consulting on a project basis.
⢠Preferred certifications include CCP, CEBS, WorldatWork, or SPHR.
⢠Background in board compensation from Mercer, Pearl Meyer, WTW, McLagan, or Aon is preferred.
⢠Experience with Texas or large pension plans is preferred.
