Senior BMC Remedy/Helix ITSM Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, configure, and maintain workflows within BMC Remedy / BMC Helix ITSM.

• Enhance and streamline billing and invoicing workflows and automation processes.

• Diagnose failed billing tasks and workflow procedures, pinpoint root causes, and oversee successful reprocessing.

• Examine issues related to financial data structures and chartfields.

• Sustain and enhance integrations between Remedy/Helix and external ERP systems.

• Revise billing logic, workflow configurations, and automation rules as per evolving business requirements.

• Assist with billing-rate modifications and system preparations pertinent to fiscal year-end and financial closure activities.

• Create and adjust dashboards within Remedy / Helix ITSM.

• Investigate production challenges and aid in stabilizing workflows within time-sensitive settings.

• Document system configurations, workflow modifications, troubleshooting protocols, and technical solutions.

• Engage in knowledge-transfer initiatives and collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Trace failed workflows across systems, implement corrective actions, and ensure successful task completion.

• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders on vital financial processes and fiscal deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5+ years of practical experience in BMC Remedy or BMC Helix ITSM development and configuration.

• Solid background in developing or supporting billing, invoicing, or financial workflows.

• Extensive experience in troubleshooting intricate workflow failures and system integrations.

• Knowledge of financial data structures and chartfields.

• Experience in integrating Remedy / Helix ITSM with ERP systems.

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft and/or INFORMS is highly preferred.

• Comprehensive understanding of workflow automation, configuration, and business rules.

• Experience in supporting systems during financial closing or fiscal year-end activities.

• Proficiency in databases, reporting, and data analysis.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and root-cause analysis skills.

• Ability to perform effectively in environments with tight deadlines and business-critical processes.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Strong capability in technical documentation.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• This is a remote position available only to candidates located in the United States.

• U.S. citizenship is required for this position.

• Comfort with working on an Individual Contractor or B2B contract basis.
