Senior Backend Integration Developer, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services for the Aggregation Platform.

• Facilitate seamless integrations between game providers and operators.

• Construct and enhance API-first solutions that support scalable, high-performance, and business-critical systems.

• Write secure, maintainable, and high-quality code in accordance with engineering best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create integration solutions and enhance platform architecture.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and DevOps methodologies.

• Engage in architectural discussions.

• Enhance platform reliability, scalability, and performance.

• Support Agile development methodologies.

• Take part in technical decision-making within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in backend software development with a significant emphasis on API-first solutions.

• More than 5 years of experience in building and maintaining high-availability, business-critical applications.

• Strong expertise in Java.

• Proven experience in developing clean, secure, and high-performance code.

• Direct experience with PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Knowledge of DevOps practices, including Continuous Integration (CI), automated deployments, and test automation.

• Experience operating within Agile development environments.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Proficiency in English at B2 level or higher.

• Familiarity with Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP).

• Experience in designing scalable software architectures.

• Experience using AI-driven development tools to enhance productivity and software quality.
