📋 Description

• Take charge of cross-company infrastructure and architecture projects from inception to implementation alongside the Software Architect, ensuring successful adoption across various teams.

• Develop and maintain shared foundations and standards for services.

• Spearhead the advancement of the data layer as customer demands increase.

• Establish platform foundations for integrating AI agents within the product.

• Promote cost optimization on the application side, including scaling services on Kubernetes.

• Enhance reliability and observability throughout services.

• Guide AI-assisted development methodologies within R&D while upholding engineering standards.

• Foster technical alignment with team leaders, DevOps, and Product Management.

• Evaluate designs, pinpoint opportunities for reuse, and elevate the architectural standards across R&D.

• Develop platform code and implement changes collaboratively across teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of backend engineering experience, with expertise at an architect level in system design.

• Extensive production experience with Node.js and TypeScript.

• Regular utilization of AI tools and early engagement with emerging AI technologies.

• In-depth experience with large-scale databases, including data modeling, performance tuning, and evolving a data layer in a production environment.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience in platform engineering and infrastructure, with shared foundations that have been adopted across teams.

• Practical experience with Kubernetes and a comprehensive understanding of DevOps methodologies.

• Proven history of leading technical projects across teams and influencing outcomes without formal authority.

• Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to create design documentation and conduct technical reviews.

• Solid understanding of LLMs and AI agents.

• Experience in optimizing cloud costs.

• Background in cybersecurity or SaaS is preferred.
