Backend Java Developer – International Client

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance applications based on microservices.

• Build and evolve Java microservices for an international client.

• Develop reliable APIs and engage in a collaborative Agile delivery.

• Collaborate with the team on the design, development, and evolution of applications.

• Apply expertise in Spring Boot and related technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software development.

• 5–8 years of experience in microservices architecture, API composition, RESTful APIs, OpenAPI, and Swagger.

• 5–8 years of experience with Java 8 / Java 11.

• 3–5 years of experience with the Spring Framework, primarily Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring MVC.

• 1–3 years of experience with Maven and other build automation tools.

• 3–5 years of experience with JUnit, Mockito, WireMock, MockMVC, and Spring Test.

• 1–3 years of experience with JPA, Oracle, and JDBC.

• Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.

• Proficiency in English, with an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) required.

• Minimum certified studies.

• Strong communication, prioritization, leadership, and teamwork skills.

• Knowledge of Service Discovery, Circuit Breaker, OpenShift, distributed tracing, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Feature Flags, Liquibase/Flyway, reactive programming/Futures, Sonar, PMD, Checkstyle, and Azure DevOps is a plus.
