Senior Backend Engineer – Notificaciones

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop and optimize the push notification delivery engine on Google Cloud Run using FCM v1 and APNs HTTP/2.

• Build and scale the campaign engine on Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL), adapting temporary compatibility shims for the frontend.

• Implement pipelines for massive data ingestion in streaming mode from Cloud Storage to Pub/Sub.

• Design and implement CDC (Change Data Capture) pipelines between AWS and GCP environments to maintain minimal data divergence.

• Co-develop optimized endpoints for the in-app module utilizing Firestore with TTL caching strategies.

• Ensure strict compliance with payload contracts and error handling patterns such as Dead Letter Queue (DLQ).

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of proven experience in Backend development and microservices architectures (Node.js, Go, or similar).

• Advanced proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL / Cloud SQL) and data design.

• Practical experience working with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, Firestore).

• Strong experience in implementing messaging systems (Pub/Sub) and resilience patterns (DLQ).

• Prior experience in multi-cloud integrations (AWS and GCP) and real-time event processing.

• Intermediate-advanced English proficiency (B2+).

• Knowledge of Push Notification architectures (FCM v1, APNs HTTP/2).

• Previous experience implementing CDC (Change Data Capture) solutions.

• Familiarity with migration strategies and interoperability of legacy systems.
