Senior Backend Engineer – Golang

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain Golang services, APIs, and Agent workflows for AI-generated market briefings and news updates.

• Create data flows, data models, and service architectures to facilitate content generation and distribution.

• Construct high-concurrency, highly available systems for tailored content delivery, including scheduled pushes that must be completed within stringent timeframes—for instance, within 10 minutes.

• Oversee data quality, Agent workflow health, generation latency, and AI expenditures. Enhance performance and reliability while minimizing inference costs.

• Take ownership of both existing and new services throughout development, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting, collaborating closely with frontend, AI, data, DevOps, and QA teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–6 years of backend development experience, primarily utilizing Golang as the core technology stack and recent hands-on production involvement.

• Demonstrable experience in building data pipelines, data platforms, or large-scale data processing backend systems.

• Familiarity with AI monitoring, observability tools, or Agent engineering; capability to integrate AI/LLM workflows into production backend systems.

• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservice architecture, relational/NoSQL databases, and message queues (e.g., Kafka).

• Knowledge of AI Agent frameworks, LLM integration, or related AI toolchain development is advantageous.

• Excellent communication skills; ability to excel in a fast-paced, product-focused environment.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
