Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

• Design and create secure, high-performance backend systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in backend development.

• Strong expertise in building scalable, production-quality systems.

• Proficient in Node.js.

• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and microservices architecture.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.

• Enthusiasm for writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

• Experience in cybersecurity or developing security-centric products.

• Background in startup or rapidly growing environments.

• Familiarity with DevSecOps / SDLC tools.

• Experience with distributed systems and high-scale data processing.
