Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Engage directly with clients to comprehend their technical requirements, challenges, and product deficiencies.

• Collaborate with teams in engineering, product, sales, customer success, and management to ensure that customer insights inform product development.

• Design, create, and implement backend features, integrations, and technical solutions that meet customer demands.

• Investigate and resolve intricate technical issues spanning architecture, infrastructure, performance, and scalability.

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the OX platform and assist in linking customer scenarios to product functionalities.

• Contribute to decisions regarding backend architecture, API design, system design, and technical best practices.

• Provide deep product and engineering expertise to support customer-facing technical discussions.

• Enhance product reliability, performance, scalability, and overall customer satisfaction.

• Function effectively in a dynamic environment where technical ownership, collaboration, and customer impact are essential.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in backend development, ideally with customer-facing or customer-centric products.

• Strong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript, or similar backend technologies.

• Profound knowledge of backend architecture, including microservices, API design, distributed systems, and design patterns.

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, encompassing serverless computing, managed databases, storage, queues, and observability tools.

• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Experience in building and scaling systems capable of processing large volumes of data.

• Demonstrated ability to tackle complex technical issues and deliver efficient, scalable, production-ready solutions.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a proven capacity to work effectively across globally distributed teams.

• Familiarity with agile development environments.

• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and contemporary software delivery practices.

• Background in cybersecurity, application security, DevSecOps, or software supply chain security.

• Experience collaborating closely with enterprise customers.

• Background in technical consulting, solutions engineering, customer engineering, or field engineering.

• Proficient in observability, monitoring, incident investigation, and troubleshooting in production environments.

• Knowledge of CI/CD ecosystems, source control platforms, container security, SAST, SCA, DAST, or cloud security tools.
