This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain backend functionalities and APIs for our primary platform.

• Enhance database efficiency, dependability, and real-time data processing capabilities.

• Troubleshoot, analyze, and optimize code to ensure low latency and stable systems.

• Work collaboratively with AI, frontend, and product teams to incorporate new features.

• Play a key role in architectural decisions and influence the development of our backend infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in building production-quality backends (proficiency in Python is essential; additional experience in Go, C++, or Java is a plus).

• Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling (PostgreSQL or similar systems).

• Familiar with REST APIs and cloud platforms (AWS is preferred).

• Able to work autonomously and take ownership of challenges.

• Startup mentality — quick to deliver, quality-focused, and resistant to bureaucracy.

• Preferred: Experience with Linux debugging and performance optimization, knowledge of orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible), familiarity with data pipelines or analytical databases, and an interest in edge/cloud hybrid architectures.
