Senior Java Back-End Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and implement new features and enhancements for back-end applications.

• Conduct corrective and preventive maintenance on production systems.

• Identify, assess, and resolve issues to ensure application stability and availability.

• Develop and utilize APIs and system integrations.

• Engage in defining and advancing solution architecture.

• Execute performance, scalability, and security enhancements.

• Carry out testing, validation, and code reviews to guarantee quality delivery.

• Investigate and address incidents in production environments.

• Collaborate with diverse teams throughout all phases of the development lifecycle.

• Implement best practices for software development, version control, and documentation.

• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of systems and software engineering processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Understanding of physical retail store operations.

• Experience in sales operations.

• Familiarity with exchange and return procedures.

• Proficient in cash register opening and closing processes.

• Knowledge of promotions, campaigns, and discount applications.

• Experience in managing and utilizing gift cards.

• Understanding of omnichannel operations, including in-store pickup, web orders, and cross-channel integration.

• Experience in Java development.

• Familiarity with XML and workflow configuration.

• Proficient in SQL and Oracle databases.

• Knowledge of REST and SOAP web services.

• Experience with API integrations.

• Proficient in using Git for code version control.

• Understanding of Linux and Windows environments for support and maintenance.

• Experience with Oracle Retail Xstore.

• Preferred: knowledge of Oracle Retail Xstore Office (XOCS).

• Preferred: experience with Oracle Retail Integration Cloud Services (RICS).

• Preferred: experience with retail projects and point-of-sale (POS) systems.

• Preferred: knowledge of integrations between store systems, ERP systems, and omnichannel platforms.
