Data Engineer, Python, SQL, Data for AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain data ingestion along with ETL/ELT pipelines.

• Create, model, and document data within a cloud data warehouse.

• Establish data quality checks, oversee pipeline operations, and resolve issues.

• Collaborate with product and AI teams to ensure reliable data is accessible for new applications.

• Enhance query efficiency, pipeline performance, and manage cloud expenditures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in constructing and maintaining data pipelines.

• Proficient in Python and SQL programming.

• Familiarity with at least one cloud data warehouse, such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.

• Experience with dbt or a similar transformation tool, along with pipeline orchestration.

• Knowledge of testing, Git, and deployment methodologies.

• Experience with Airflow, streaming data, or change data capture (CDC) is a plus.

• Experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure is advantageous.

• Knowledge in preparing data for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) applications is beneficial.
