Senior Backend Developer – .NET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain backend applications utilizing C# and .NET 6 or newer

• Build and manage messaging consumers with .NET and Azure Functions

• Create and merge REST APIs alongside asynchronous events

• Operate within an event-driven microservices architecture

• Engage in deployments to Kubernetes clusters and Microsoft Azure resources

• Analyze and resolve issues in queues, dead-letter queues, and system integrations

• Diagnose applications, pods, and distributed workflows

• Debug comprehensive workflows, from events and consumers to external APIs and databases

• Develop unit and integration tests

• Collaborate with multiple interdependent microservices and intricate business rules

• Contribute to code reviews and CI/CD pipelines

• Leverage artificial intelligence tools for code generation, analysis, debugging, and automation

• Monitor applications and assist in resolving production issues

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with C# and .NET 6 or newer

• Proven track record in developing and integrating REST APIs

• Proficiency in Git, branching strategies, code reviews, and CI/CD practices

• Familiarity with SQL Server or an alternative relational database

• Understanding of unit and integration testing methodologies

• Practical experience using artificial intelligence tools in software development, such as Kiro or similar tools

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, covering Functions, Service Bus, Blob Storage, and Application Insights

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and kubectl for deployment, pod troubleshooting, scaling, rollbacks, and log analysis

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or comparable tools

• Proficient in Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, Amazon SQS, or equivalent technologies

• Understanding of queues, topics, dead-letter queues, and retry policies

• Experience with Kafka or similar technology for producing and consuming events

• Familiarity with event-driven architecture, including idempotency, ordering, DLQs, and replay

• Ability to autonomously investigate production issues

• Strong communication abilities and aptitude for discussing technical solutions with the team

• Comfortable working in distributed environments with multiple integrations

• Experience with Elasticsearch, Dynamics 365, OData APIs, and Docker

• Understanding of Helm, feature flags, and observability

• Experience with CRM, system integrations, advanced Kubernetes, and generative AI
