📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain high-performance backend applications utilizing Java and Spring Boot

• Create scalable and secure RESTful APIs

• Engage with microservices architecture and event-driven architecture (EDA) using Kafka

• Take part in technical decision-making and software architecture definition

• Conduct unit and integration testing to guarantee code quality

• Monitor and enhance application performance

• Address incidents and investigate production issues

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to grasp and translate business requirements

• Document technical solutions and assist in the development of operational procedures

• Contribute to best practices in development, code reviews, and fostering a DevOps culture

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience with Java (versions 8, 11, 17, or 21)

• High proficiency in Spring Boot, including Spring Boot 3.x

• Experience in developing RESTful APIs

• Understanding of microservices architecture

• Experience with messaging and event-driven architecture (Kafka)

• Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Redis)

• Proficient in unit and integration testing

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and continuous integration (CI/CD)

• Experience with Jenkins, Git, and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

• Strong security practices for API development

• Preferred qualifications: experience with Kubernetes and Spring Cloud; familiarity with Consul, Jira, and monitoring tools; experience on large-scale projects, particularly in the financial services sector; proactive self-development and a commitment to keeping up with technology; involvement in technical communities or open-source projects
