Senior Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovenia.

📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and sustain efficient backend applications utilizing Python

• Create and implement scalable microservices architecture

• Design, build, and launch cloud-based applications leveraging AWS services

• Deploy and oversee containerized applications using Kubernetes

• Ensure the performance, reliability, and security of backend systems

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to establish system architecture and technical strategies

• Diagnose complex issues and enhance system efficiency while minimizing downtime

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in software development, particularly in backend technologies

• Expertise in Python programming

• Proficiency in the Ukrainian language

• Comprehensive knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s) for container orchestration and management

• Experience in developing and deploying cloud solutions using AWS services, including ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, and RDS

• Strong foundation in microservices architecture and distributed systems

• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases

• Excellent debugging skills and a solid understanding of performance optimization techniques

• Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and engineers

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (preferred)

• Experience with Docker (preferred)

• Understanding of DevOps principles and practices (preferred)
