Senior Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with security researchers

• Transform prototypes, scrapers, and research pipelines into scalable production systems

• Take ownership of projects from inception to completion, covering design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance

• Develop systems that support open-source intelligence and security research initiatives

• Design and construct scalable backend systems along with data pipelines

• Convert research prototypes into production-quality services

• Work with extensive datasets and large-scale systems

• Engage in close collaboration with security researchers and engineers

• Ensure the reliability, performance, and maintainability of services

• Contribute to architectural decisions and system design

• Utilize AI/LLMs and automation tools to enhance engineering workflows

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in backend development (Python, JavaScript, or similar)

• Experience in building and operating production SaaS services

• Significant experience with high-scale systems and large datasets

• Capacity to independently drive projects from start to finish

• Experience in designing scalable architectures and data pipelines

• Strong problem-solving skills and a builder mentality

• Familiarity with using AI tools / LLMs in development workflows

• Experience in a cybersecurity startup (preferred)

• Knowledge of malware analysis or reverse engineering, including obfuscation, encryption, sandboxing, and time-bombs (preferred)
