Senior Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Design and implement the server-side logic for the game application.

• Advance the company's software solutions using cutting-edge development frameworks and techniques, including Ruby 3.

• Create analytics tools within the software for enhanced observability.

• Ensure the maintenance of automated testing systems.

• Perform unit testing and participate in code review processes.

• Optimize and refactor existing source code.

• Evaluate and enhance software performance metrics.

• Compose and document code that adheres to project specifications, delivering functionality in line with established standards and guidelines.

• Integrate new technologies and insights to refine documentation practices, scalability, testing methodologies, and code refactoring.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in software development.

• Experience in the iGaming sector.

• Strong expertise in Ruby programming.

• Familiarity with C/C++, Rust, or GO Lang is advantageous.

• Fundamental understanding of Linux operating systems.

• Basic proficiency in command line tools and the Git Version Control System.

• Introductory knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Eager to learn and adapt to new technologies (e.g., gRPC, GraphQL, GO Lang).

• Exceptional written communication and documentation skills in English.

• Open and convincing communication style, capable of clarifying complex issues and relationships.

• Must reside within the European time zone (+/- 2 hours).
