This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Create and execute scalable, distributed Back-end solutions for a SaaS platform.
• Design and implement complex systems emphasizing accessibility compliance and platform scalability.
• Build and sustain microservices and cloud-native applications.
• Plan, execute, and assist in large-scale software delivery pipelines.
• Monitor system health, resolve production issues, and enhance service performance.
• Investigate, assess, and incorporate modern technologies into the Back-end ecosystem.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on architectural evolution and technical strategy.
• Participate in infrastructure and SaaS architecture decision-making.
• Enhance reliability, scalability, observability, and maintainability of distributed systems.
• Leverage AI-assisted development practices and tools throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Engage in code reviews, technical discussions, and initiatives for engineering best practices.
• Over 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• A minimum of 1 year of substantial AI SDLC experience.
• Strong Back-end development expertise in at least 2 programming languages, including Golang (primary), Kotlin, or other JVM-based languages.
• Practical experience with AI coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Microsoft Copilot, or similar.
• Proficient with at least one major cloud provider, such as GCP, AWS, or Azure, including serverless and container-based deployments.
• Some familiarity with Elasticsearch and BigQuery.
• Knowledge of various data stores and services including SQL, NoSQL, Elasticsearch, BigQuery, etc.
• Proficient with at least one messaging or streaming system such as Kafka, Flink, Spark, Pub/Sub, or RabbitMQ.
• Understanding of high-scale stream and batch processing systems including Flink, Spark, and Kafka.
• Strong foundation in microservices architecture, distributed systems, serverless solutions, and high-scalability systems.
• Familiar with production monitoring and performance optimization.
• Knowledgeable about CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English.
