Senior Back-End Developer, .Net

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services utilizing C# and .NET.

• Design and support REST APIs along with integrations among enterprise systems, internal applications, and third-party services.

• Engage in extensive work with SQL, stored procedures, and critical data workflows.

• Diagnose and resolve integration failures, data discrepancies, and production issues.

• Ensure the technical integrity of the client’s Microsoft Dynamics GP ecosystem and associated applications.

• Acquire knowledge of the client’s Odoo environment and assist in its upkeep, integrations, and custom functionalities.

• Enhance the reliability, maintainability, and performance of current systems.

• Collaborate with technical leads and business stakeholders to grasp requirements and provide effective solutions.

• Document integrations, system behaviors, and key technical decisions.

• Adapt to various platforms as the client’s enterprise technology strategy progresses.

• Engage in the hiring process by participating on interview panels for prospective roles.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of professional backend software engineering experience.

• Extensive production experience with C# and .NET frameworks.

• Proficient in SQL and relational databases, including stored procedures and troubleshooting database-related challenges.

• Experience in building, maintaining, or enhancing REST APIs and enterprise integrations.

• Background in working with existing production systems and addressing technical debt.

• Capability to comprehend business-critical workflows and convert them into dependable backend solutions.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a capacity to work independently.

• Willingness and aptitude to quickly learn Python, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics GP, or other enterprise platforms.

• Proficient English communication skills.

• Employment is contingent upon providing documentation that verifies legal work authorization in the country of residence.

• Nice to have: professional experience with Python.

• Nice to have: experience in developing or customizing Odoo modules.

• Nice to have: familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics GP, Business Central, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.

• Nice to have: experience in Azure or Microsoft-based enterprise environments.

• Nice to have: exposure to e-commerce or retail platforms.

• Nice to have: knowledge of finance, inventory, order management, or supply-chain processes.
