Senior AWS Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Create scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS solutions customized to meet client needs.

• Lead cloud migration efforts from on-premises systems to AWS.

• Engage in presales activities, which include client presentations, solution demonstrations, workshops, and proposal development.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to collect requirements and convert business needs into technical solutions.

• Offer technical direction to clients throughout the project lifecycle and serve as a trusted advisor on cloud strategies.

• Keep abreast of AWS services, cloud technologies, and industry trends to uncover innovative solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in cloud architecture, emphasizing AWS.

• Proven track record as an AWS Solutions Architect, especially in cloud migration projects.

• Deep understanding of AWS services, best practices in cloud architecture, and security protocols.

• Demonstrated expertise in presales, including client engagement, solution presentations, and proposal development.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the capacity to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong executive presence and the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels.

• Robust analytical, problem-solving, and solution development skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Ability to perform independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

• Advanced proficiency in English.

• Preferred: Experience with DevOps practices and tools within AWS environments.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Preferred: Understanding of cloud compliance frameworks and security standards.

• Preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or equivalent certification.

• Preferred: Experience facilitating AWS workshops and training sessions for clients.
